JAKARTA, June 13 (UPI) -- Officials blame a translation error for an apparently mistaken comment by Indonesia's president during a news conference with Australia's prime minister.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said in Indonesian that terrorists responsible for attacks in Bali had been brought to justice and the security situation throughout Indonesia has "returned to normal."

Indonesian Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda said the translator mistakenly added, "I do look forward that this advisory be lifted," to the end of the president's statement.

A spokesman for Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said Wirajuda explained that the translator mistakenly added the sentence to Yudhoyono's statement and the sentiment was not expressed by the president in Indonesian, The Age reported Friday.

Rudd said in response to the statement at the press conference that the government's warnings are based on recommendations from the National Threat Assessment Center.

"That has been our process in the past and will be in the future," he said.
