SAN JOSE, Calif., June 9 (UPI) -- Federal Aviation Administration officials said San Jose, Calif., residents who reported sighting UFOs were probably looking at satellites.
The FAA Air Traffic Control Center in Fremont, Calif., said no unusual air traffic was reported and the objects seen by residents were likely satellites reflecting the sunlight with their solar panels, KTVU-TV, San Jose, Calif., reported Monday.
San Jose resident Bob Lochridge said he caught the objects on tape.
"They appeared to be triangular pieces of metal," he said. "They were up very, very high. I couldn't see them without the camera."
