SEDONA, Ariz., May 8 (UPI) -- Arizona police said they are on the lookout for witnesses who may have spotted a nude man hiking on a nature trail.

John Edward Mosley, 61, of St. George, Utah, halted his nude nature tour to chat with two women on Bear Mountain Trail just outside of Sedona, Ariz., April 28, KNXV-TV, Phoenix reported Wednesday.

The women reported Mosley to a U.S. Forest Service worker, but authorities were unable immediately to locate him.

The women later called authorities and said they spotted Mosley's Jeep and saw him on the Fay Canyon Trail.

Mosley was taken into police custody and charged with indecent exposure after he was seen getting into his vehicle, KNXV said.

The nude hiker was released and given a court date.
