Bedbugs seen at New York subway stations

NEW YORK, May 8 (UPI) -- A New York Department of Housing, Preservation and Development official says bedbugs have been spotted in the city's subway stations.

Edward Brownbear, the leading bedbug expert with the department, said he has found the tiny insects at Brooklyn's Hoyt-Schermerhorn station, Manhattan's Union Square station and Fordham Road station in The Bronx, the New York Post reported Thursday.
