SEATTLE, March 27 (UPI) -- Wildlife officials in Washington state said an American bald eagle that appeared malnourished was found standing on a Seattle sidewalk.

The eagle, which drew a crowd of onlookers, was on the sidewalk for at least an hour before it was retrieved by the Washington State Fish and Wildlife department, The Seattle Times reported Thursday.
