NEW YORK, March 14 (UPI) -- Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the aspiring singer notorious for her alleged trysts with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, is suddenly in demand online.

Dupre's MySpace page got 5 million hits in less than a day, the New York Post reported Friday.

Before her name came out in connection with the Spitzer scandal, listeners on AmieStreet.com were willing to pay only 9 cents to hear her sing "What we want." Her price has zoomed to 98 cents, the maximum for the site, and she has added another track, "Move ya body."

Spitzer, who steps down on Monday, allegedly paid thousands of dollars to an escort service that employed Dupre, using the work name Kristen.

Newsweek reports that Jordan Parks, a member of the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan, was so taken with Dupre that he created a FaceBook group called "I don't care WHO or WHAT she did, Ashley Alexandra Dupre is effin gorgeous!!" He convinced a couple of his buddies to sign up.

By Friday morning, Parks said, his group had almost 200 members.
