LONDON, March 3 (UPI) -- A construction worker refurbishing offices at a London hospital has been fired after a security guard reported finding him having sex with a vacuum cleaner.
The security guard said he saw the contractor, who was supposed to be locking up at the building site, naked and on his knees in the staff cafeteria of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital with the hose of a Henry Hoover vacuum cleaner on his genitals, The Daily Telegraph reported Monday.
The guard said he told the man to "clean himself and the Hoover" before informing his employer, HG Construction, of the incident.
When questioned by his bosses, the worker claimed he was simply vacuuming his underwear, which he claimed was "a common practice in Poland," his native country.
The construction company said the worker has been fired.
"That behavior is not acceptable, though it gave a few people a laugh," the company told The Sun.
