Etch A Sketch art headed for Ohio capitol

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- The Ohio Statehouse has announced 56 Etch A Sketch drawings will be displayed at the building during February.

The drawings, created by artist Tim George, depict famous Ohio natives and locations as drawn on Etch A Sketch toys, the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News reported Monday.

The classic toy uses twin dials to move a stylus that scrapes aluminum powder from a screen, creating the appearance of black lines.

George said he learned how to use an Etch A Sketch when his daughter was hospitalized.
