
NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Topps Co. Inc. of New York has announced packs of its 2008 baseball cards will include trading cards bearing the faces of U.S. presidential contenders.
The company said the presidential cards, which will be distributed at a rate of one card in every ninth pack of baseball cards, will feature six Democrats and six Republicans, TheSmokingGun.com reported.
Candidates lending their likenesses to the cards, which retail for about $3 per pack of 12, include Hillary Clinton" class="tpstyle">Democrats Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards, Bill Richardson, Dennis Kucinich and Joseph Biden, as well as Republicans John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and Fred Thompson.
Only Clinton, Obama, McCain, Romney and Paul are still campaigning.
