CALVERT, Md., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- A Calvert, Md., man was shocked to find a number listed in the telephone book did not connect him to the governor's office, but to a phone sex line.

Pete Pritchard said he dialed the number listed in the Armstrong Telephone Co. phone book for the Maryland governor's office, but was confused when a woman answered the phone with "Hi, sexy," WBAL-TV, Baltimore, reported Tuesday.

Pritchard said he later discovered the same error was printed in the previous version to the phone book and he postulated that he may have been the first person to attempt to dial the governor's office using the listing.

An official with Armstrong Telephone Co. said the error would be corrected in a message sent with February bills. He said directory information comes from a third party source and the company does not control the content.
