ScientificMatch.com founder Eric Holzle believes that couples with opposite immune systems have a better chance of producing healthy babies. Advertisement "This is going to revolutionize the entire dating industry," Holzle told ABC News. "We're providing the most perfect dating service that you're going to get, the best of both worlds." ScientifcMatch has other features that Holzle believes will bring in customers to pay the $1,995 fee. The service promises stringent background checks while customer profiles will not be censored. Scientists say that Holzle's premise that babies will be more robust if their parents have opposite genes is unproven. James Evans, head of the adult genetics institute at the University of North Carolina, said that so many factors go into a child's health that teasing out the effect of genetics is still difficult. But Holzle believes he is offering something the public wants. "Everyone advertises chemistry -- we're the only one that offers it," he said.
