DEFOREST, Wis., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A DeForest, Wis., man has admitted stealing several blow-up dolls from a Burke, Wis., sex shop and has led detectives to the loot.
Jose Sandoval said he broke into the Naughty Novelties store Nov. 10 and took thong underwear, lotion and several blow-up dolls -- including a talking model that retails for $270, the (Madison) Wisconsin State Journal reported Wednesday.
Sandoval, who has been charged with burglary, described the theft as a "drunken, stupid thing."
Naughty Novelties co-owner Roger Hellenbrand told police that no money had been taken during the break-in.
Sandoval's car was identified as the one captured on a security camera during the robbery by a Dane County Sheriff's detective. The suspect initially denied the crime when questioned by officers, but later confessed and led investigators to the places where he kept the stolen items.
