Daniel Schaefer was busted by police in Tempe as he met an Arizona State University student who had done his own snooping around on the Internet and found an ad for a bike suspiciously like his own. Advertisement After responding to the ad, student Michael Krifka marched down to the police station and was giving a report when his cell phone rang. It was, of course. Schaefer calling him back. Krifka told KPHO-TV in Phoenix that the $1,000 customized bike was easy to spot, and he was thrilled to have his main mode of transportation back. "Especially with gas prices now. The bike is the ultimate," he said.
