MADISON, Wis., Oct. 28 (UPI) -- A group of well-heeled alumni who chipped in to give the largest gift ever to the University of Wisconsin School of Business want the school to keep its name.

The 12, united as the "Wisconsin Naming Partnership," made it a condition of the $80 million donation that the business school keep its name the same for at least 20 years, The Milwaukee Journal reported. Large gifts are often conditional on getting a school, or at least a significant building, named after the donor.

Two of the 12 also remained anonymous.

The gift was the largest ever to UW-Madison.

In the announcement of the gift, school officials said the alumni want to build the Wisconsin School of Business brand.
