CARPINTERIA, Calif., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Carpinteria, Calif., restaurant chain Hardee's has begun serving a gargantuan breakfast item that contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat.

The Country Breakfast Burrito employs a flour tortilla to hold two-egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday.

"This is no ordinary breakfast burrito," said Brad Haley, executive vice president of Marketing for Hardee's restaurants. "It's an entire country breakfast in the palm of your hand. It represents the first time that hungry breakfast customers can get eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns and sausage gravy in a portable form that can easily be eaten on the go. True breakfast fans are really going to enjoy the Country Breakfast Burrito once they get their hands on it."

The burrito is only offered for a limited time and retails for $2.69 or $4.09 for a small combo that includes coffee and hash rounds.
