CAMBRIDGE, England, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Cambridge University is reportedly becoming the spawning ground of Britain’s best and brightest scientists, politicians, hookers and strippers.
Reports have surfaced that a number of women at the venerable college -- alma mater of Charles Darwin, C.S. Lewis and Prince Charles, to name a few -- have been earning extra pounds as exotic dancers, escorts and even call girls.
“Once you've done it, it is tempting,” one hardworking coed told The Telegraph in a Wednesday report. “If you need quick easy money, it's there.”
University officials downplayed the reports that have been circulating in the British media. They said the number of women involved in the trade appeared to be low, but they urged any students who may be having trouble making ends meet to seek financial aid through the school rather than going off the deep end.
