JERUSALEM, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- The Jerusalem Municipality is putting up a 10,700-square-foot, candy-covered sukkah in Jerusalem's Safra Square for the Sukkot holiday.
The sukkah, which is a temporary building used during Sukkot, has been named the "Sukkah-riah," in a play on the Hebrew word for "candy," IsraelNN.com reported Thursday.
Sukkot is also known as the "Feast of Tabernacles."
The one-of-a-kind Sukkah-riah has two tons of candy and bubblegum covering the outside and features candy shaped lights and ornaments as well. There is also candy chains hanging from the ceiling.
Chocolate fountains, marshmallows on outdoor grills and cotton candy will be served to visitors free of charge.
