CINCINNATI, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A section of Ohio's I-471 was closed Wednesday after a tractor trailer carrying a load of rotten meat dumped its malodorous cargo across the interstate.
Carrying a massive load of sausages, lunch meat and rotten meats, the tractor trailer overturned after being crashed into by an out-of-control passenger car, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
A 21-year-old driver said he lost control of his Toyota Camry while driving southbound on the interstate and began to spin until it crashed into an oncoming truck.
That tractor trailer then crashed into a median wall and a portion of the truck was torn off, dumping its awful smelling cargo on the surrounding interstate.
The Enquirer said it took nearly six hours to clean up the mess from the morning accident in Campbell County and reopen those lanes closed due to the food-based disaster.
No one was reported injured in the accident.
