ORANGE, Calif., Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Two grocery store workers in California took their argument about how to stock produce outside, where it turned violent when one worker stabbed another.

Two men were stacking produce when they began arguing about the right -- or wrong -- way to do their job, The Orange County (Calif.) Register reported.

Words escalated into threats and the men took their argument to the store's parking lot, where punches were thrown before a steak knife was drawn.

Abraham Marquez, 24, allegedly pulled out the knife, stabbing his co-worker in the arm, said Orange Police Sgt. Dan Adams. Someone driving by saw the fight and called police.

Marquez fled, but was arrested at his home a few blocks away. He was charged with suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

The other man was treated at the scene by paramedics, police said.
