"The (911) caller said they saw a man on the roof screaming for the driver to stop," said New Port Richey Police Assistant Chief Darryl Garman.

Police said Luther had been drinking when she argued with boyfriend, Jamison Klod. They said she hit him with her convertible Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, throwing him onto the roof, and drove around while he punched the passenger side window and demanded she stop.

When police arrived, Luther had fled to a neighbor's house and Klod was standing with the damaged car, his hand bleeding. He refused medical attention.

Police found a glass pipe and a small amount of crack cocaine in Luther's car. She was being held in a Land O'Lakes, Fla., jail in lieu of $6,250 bond.
