MADISON, Wis., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Madison, Wis., police have arrested a man accused of breaking into the home of a nun and forcing her to drive him around to find money.

Larome Kingcade allegedly broke into the home of the 61-year-old Catholic nun Tuesday morning, pushed her and demanded she give him money, the Wisconsin State Journal reported Thursday.

"It's unclear whether he knew that she was inside that house when he went in, " police spokesman Joel DeSpain said.

However, upon finding out the woman was a nun and had no cash, Kingcade allegedly forced her to drive him around in her car for nearly an hour before instructing her to drop him off. He never got any money from the nun.

The sister phoned police and Kingcade was arrested later in the day on a probation violation and on tentative charges of kidnapping, burglary, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kingcade previously was convicted of felony robbery with force in October 2003 and was subsequently sentenced to four years in prison and four years of extended supervision.
