"There's never been a better time to quit smoking," said Indiana Health Commissioner Dr. Judy Monroe. "We're very encouraged by the outpouring of interest we've received to the Quit 2 Win contest. As a result, we have reached our first milestone of success this week with our 1,000th entry. I am encouraged by this positive response."

The top prize is $2,500. Participants can also win concert tickets, "ride-along" experiences in IndyCar-style race cars, tickets to the state fair or admission prices to theme parks.
