Couple charged with rush-hour sex

July 20, 2007 at 3:03 PM

CINCINNATI, July 20 (UPI) -- An Ohio couple allegedly made rush hour more interesting or distasteful for drivers by having sex on the median of a busy Cincinnati road.

The public sex act was originally reported as a possible rape Wednesday to Cincinnati police by someone who spotted the pair in the median of West Central Parkway, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported. But when officers responded, they decided that James Barbour and Carol Walters were engaged in consensual sex.

Walters was dressed only in a T-shirt, police said.

The couple was charged with public indecency.
