The venerable Tomoji Tanabe says he has been enjoying good health and appetite in recent years at his home in Miyakonojo, the Kyodo news service said Saturday. Advertisement By coincidence, Tomoji lives in the same Kyushu region of Japan as Yone Minagawa, who at 114 is listed as the world's oldest person.
