"Hoodie," a slang term for a hooded sweat shirt, "wags," a term for the wives and girlfriends of soccer players, and "brainfood," which describes foods thought to benefit brain function, and other words that have only entered the English language in recent years have been added to the dictionary, the BBC reported Monday. Advertisement The publication also includes the term "size-zero," a fashion phrase for a very small dress, and "pro-ana," which is the chosen label of those who consider anorexia to be a valid lifestyle choice. World events also influenced the content of the book's latest volume, with the inclusion of "radicalizing," "Gitmo," shorthand for the U.S. base at Guantanamo Bay, and "Beslan," referring to the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis in Russia. The dictionary, released Monday, is available in print, online, as a desktop application and as a program designed for cell phones.
