TUMWATER, Wash., May 27 (UPI) -- A mysterious package that prompted the evacuation of a state corrections office in Washington only contained a "bobblehead" doll, it was reported Sunday.
A Washington State Patrol bomb squad opened the package in Tumwater Friday and found a "Schrammie" doll depicting Seattle television commentator Ken Schram, The Olympian reported.
The package was hand-addressed to the head of the department with no return address, department spokesman Gary Larson said. About 350 state workers stood outside the building for about 50 minutes until the incident was resolved, the Olympia, Wash., newspaper said.
The dolls, with oversized, wobbly heads, look like Schram, who gives them to people he chastises on his show. The Department of Corrections made his list in March for paroling felons in King County to relieve prison crowding.
