FORT WAYNE, Ind., May 12 (UPI) -- An Indiana bank robbery suspect was arrested when the neighbor who gave him a ride to the bank drove him back there, saying he wasn't going to jail for him.

Police in Fort Wayne say the driver agreed to take Harry Green to the Wells Fargo Bank branch because he knew Green has disabilities, The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne reported.

The man told police he came into the bank looking for Green because he took so long and left because Green was "talking crazy." But as they drove away, he saw Green was holding a wad of bills and realized he had robbed the bank.

Police were at the bank when the two men returned there. Green told police he had decided to come back to the bank because he had changed his mind and wanted to return the money.
