MILWAUKEE, May 10 (UPI) -- Hundreds of family photos dating back almost 100 years were found an an abandoned storage locker in Fox Point, Wis.
Emily LeFeber, the leasing agent at the Foxcroft apartments, said the pictures and postcards had probably been there for years, WTMJ-TV said Thursday.
The television station used the names on the back of photos to find a family member, Shirley Panek of Brookfield, Wis.
Panek said she believes the photos belong to her aunt and uncle, Adele and Charles Tuomi, who both passed away several years ago. She said she is thrilled to have the photos.
"It's really exciting to think there's a bunch of photos out there that nobody has seen," Panek said.
