AURORA, Ill., April 17 (UPI) -- Police said a dispute over public urination allegedly led one man to shoot another in the legs and groin in Aurora, Ill.

David Williams stands charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm after he allegedly shot another man who complained about his urinating in a garbage can at an apartment complex parking lot, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday.

Police allege Williams fired several shots, causing non-life threatening wounds to the man's legs and groin.

Williams was arrested in the parking lot of another apartment complex. He was being held in the Kane County (Ill.) Jail Monday in lieu of $500,000 bail.
