Paramedics accused of sex in ambulance

DURBAN, South Africa, April 16 (UPI) -- Two paramedics in South Africa are under investigation for allegedly having a sexual romp in their ambulance.

A passerby reportedly photographed the two having sex in the ambulance, the Daily News in Durban, South Africa, reported on Monday.

The alleged encounter occurred in Imbali township in Pietermaritzburg after the two paramedics had been on duty Thursday night, the newspaper said.

Provincial Department of Health officials said they plan to view the alleged photographic evidence taken by the spectator.

"We have been informed about the matter but we will only launch an official investigation once we have seen this footage," said Health spokesman Chris Maxin.
