Omar Abd-el-Gowd, 26, says he has been a shoe fetishist since he was 12. Advertisement He told a London jury he would approach victims from behind, quickly lift up one of their feet and flee with one of their shoes, Sky News reported. He admits a total of eight robberies in London between December 2005 and November 2006 but denies allegations that he sexually assaulted one of his victims. Abd-el-Gowd told police he could seldom recall details of those he had attacked but he could clearly remember their shoes.
