The controversial statue proposal split Boras into two camps with the project passing on a 40-28 vote. The million-dollar salute to the puppet with a big heart and a nose that grows when he lies is expected up by next spring. Advertisement The monument honors Swedish artist Gustaf Tenggren, one of the Disney illustrators who worked on the 1940 film "Pinocchio."
