PAW PAW, Mich., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A Michigan family Monday mourned the loss of two brothers killed in a bizarre head-on collision outside of Paw Paw.

James West, 33, lost control of his car on an icy, snow-covered rural road, crossed the center line and slammed head-on into the car being driven by his brother, Jessie, 24, WOOD-TV, Grand Rapids reported.

Both brothers were declared dead at the scene, the Van Buren County. Mich., Sheriff's Department said.
