LONDON, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- A London woman has allowed her holiday cheer to run over, keeping a Christmas wreath on her front door for a pair of robins to live in.

While the holiday passed weeks ago, Julie Luckett has kept her Christmas wreath up as a home for her new feathered friends, the (London) Daily Mail reported.

"It's wonderful. We've struck up a relationship," the 49-year-old said. "I leave mealworm near the nest and have my post delivered next door so the postman doesn't disturb them."

To add to Luckett's excitement over the birds, which arrived at her door the day after Christmas, the nest now features five new eggs. The prospect of new arrivals has Luckett thrilled.

"At first, the female, whom I've named Holly, was nervous of me but now she trusts me. She's even flown into my house a few times," Luckett told the newspaper. "I've seen her mate, Ollie, come to her too. With any luck I'll have five chicks singing away in my wreath soon."
