ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- No one was injured and no equipment was damaged when a sports car crashed into a busy dry cleaner in Rockville, Md.
Maria Esperanza Guerra, who manages Dry Clean Expo, said a storefront window was shattered by the Jaguar, which traveled 25 feet into the store, but no damage was done to equipment or clothing, The Washington Post reported Friday.
"Everything was in bags," she said, "and the conveyers weren't hit."
Guerra said she was in the back room when the car entered the store.
"I thought it was a bomb that had gone off," she said. "I started running and saw the car inside."
A Montgomery County police spokesman said the cause of the accident was unclear, but the driver of the car, Iren Vallario, was issued a citation for negligent driving.
