WELLINGTON, Ohio, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- An Ohio artist who wants to grab people's attention has done just that with a storefront holiday display featuring gingerbread men at a Nazi rally.
Keith McGuckin put up "The Secret Lives of Gingerbread Men" Thursday night in the window of an empty store in Wellington, The Elyria (Ohio) Chronicle-Telegram reported.
McGuckin, 50, originally had the display in an Oberlin hardware store but the owner ordered him to remove it after deeming the subject matter offensive.
"This one does seem to rub people the wrong way," McGluckin told the Chronicle-Telegram. "But I hope it'll stay up for a little while. I still have to put the gay snowman in the window."
Last year, McGuckin's set up a display with a caroler bashing a snowman and a little boy excited to use his unwrapped chemistry set to produce crystal meth.
