Victim of pot theft faces drug charge

BELLPORT, N.Y., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Two thieves after a stash of marijuana in a New York home escaped, and the victim faces a possession charge.

Michael Omelchunk of Bellport on Long Island was arrested after police found another stash that the thieves had missed, Newsday reported.

Omelchunk was in the house with two other people when two men armed with handguns burst in. One of the three got out of the house and called police from a neighbor's.

Police were still looking for the thieves.
