Adam Baker, who paints portraits of the customers at his barber shop in Carson City, the state capital, is angry about being rejected to do Guinn's official portrait in favor of a Washington State artist, Michele Rushworth. While Baker describes Rushworth as "an awesome artist," he says Guinn should have kept his business local. Advertisement Baker started out by hanging his sketch of Guinn over a urinal in the Nevada State House. Then he took the sketch on "Kenny's Big Adventure," visiting urinals in all the state houses in the Lower 48. He plans to travel to Alaska and Hawaii before settling down. Steve George, a spokesman for the governor, said Baker was rejected because his preliminary sketch was not that good. "The fact that he wants to display it in a restroom speaks a lot of what he thinks about his own work," George said.
