Advertisement The incident aboard a Southwest Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Raleigh with a stop in Phoenix happened on Sept. 15, when passengers complained about the couple groping, kissing passionately and contorting into questionable positions in their seats, the Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer reported Tuesday. Flight attendants told FBI agents they asked the couple to stop several times, and finally stopped serving them alcohol. The woman allegedly told one flight attendant: "You and I are gonna have some serious confrontation when we get off this plane," while the prosecution affidavit alleges the man called a flight attendant a "punk" for refusing them bar service. Ages were not given for Carl Persing and Dawn Sewell, who will appear in federal court on Dec. 11 in Wilmington, N.C., on charges of harassing a flight attendant. Sex club could cost studio its lease EDINBURGH, Scotland, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- A recording studio in Edinburgh, Scotland, could lose its lease for allowing a club offering kinky sex to hold "fetish nights" in its space. Lighthouse Studios rents space in a historic lighthouse building owned by Waterfront Edinburgh, a development company jointly owned by the city and Scottish Enterprise. Studio managers say they did not realize what was going on at the Nightshade club nights -- and when they found out they stopped allowing the sex club to use their space, The Scotsman reported. The club reportedly caters to people who enjoy bondage and other sadomasochistic activities. "The emphasis is on equipment rather than dancing," Nightshade promises on its Web site. The club holds monthly member-only events around Edinburgh. Cell phones and cameras are banned. Love boat setting sail in Shanghai SHANGHAI, China, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- A Chinese matchmaker is looking for rich men to introduce to beautiful women on a Shanghai love boat. Xu Tianli's matchmaking party will be held on a a ship on the Huangpu River on Nov. 25, the China Daily reported. Advertisement The men must have assets worth at least $250,000, and all the women must be good-looking and desirable, said Xu, who owns a matchmaking Web site. Xu said half of the men who registered for the event have more than $25 million worth of assets. He said the men are all in search of a serious relationship. "Rich men are normally very busy, and most of the women they meet are there for work or business, which these men consider to be unsuitable for relationships," Xu told China Daily. "What these rich men want is a woman who is a bit more than normal, Cop pleads guilty to underwear demands PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- A Portland, Ore., police officer has pleaded guilty to charges he asked two women to show him their underwear during a traffic stop. John Alexander Wood, 31, who agreed to resign his post with the Portland police department, faces two years of probation and 100 hours of community service, The Oregonian reported. The incident occurred in the early-morning hours of July 21, after the women left a nightclub in East Portland, the newspaper said. The women said Wood pulled their vehicle on Interstate 205. He allegedly told them to lift their skirts and show him their underwear or he would take them to jail for driving under the influence. Advertisement Wood concluded the stop without writing a ticket after the women complied with his requests, the newspaper said.
