SOFIA, Bulgaria, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Top Bulgarian celebrities such as soccer star Hristo Stoichkov will provide biographies and autographs to people flying on the country's flagship Bulgaria Air.

The Sofia News Agency said this month's promotion is part of the airline's "Bulgaria's Spirit on Board", which started in March.

The agency said the free "flying messages" would include Olympic champion Stefka Kostadinova, legendary clarinet player Ivo Papazov, singer Valya Balkanska, opera prima Raina Kabaivanska, Bulgarian pop diva Lili Ivanova and famous Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast Lili Ignatova.

Bulgaria Air CEO Zlatin Sarastov told the agency it was only fitting to publicize the country's heritage.

"The achievements of successful Bulgarians are the best advertisement of our country and that has been proved by time," Sarastov said.

The airline said the promotion would also allow foreigners to get enchanted by the nestinars' dance -- a traditional Bulgarian dance in which men and women in trances walk on hot embers.
