Bull stalks Newark

NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Newark, N.J., is no cow town, but police rose to the occasion Friday when they had to lasso a bull wandering around downtown.

Officers managed to corral the animal in a parking lot, but the feisty bull climbed over an air conditioning unit as a cop with a rope tried to move in, the Newark Star-Ledger said.

Those determined city slickers finally succeeded in subduing the animal. It's not clear where the animal came from; no one has reported a missing bull. Not in New Jersey any way.
