Auction seeks millions for domain names

HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- An auction of coveted Internet domain names such as hell.com and auction.com is asking as much as $10 million for the best.

At a live auction in Hollywood, Fla., on Oct. 27, the domain name vendor Moniker.com will also offer such basic names as hmo.com, elections.com, digitalcameras.com, downloadgames.com and sexeducation.com, Cnetnews.com reported.

Of more specific nature, caymanislands.com and breathalyzer.com will also be auctioned, the report said.

The inaugural offering of domain names for mobile use and ending in .mobi will also be sold off at the auction, the report said.
