BETHANY, Okla., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- A Bethany, Okla., man is huffing and puffing over new his neighbor's three not-so-little pigs, which he says are loud, flea-ridden and smelly.

Maureen Kid owns the pot-bellied pigs, which live in her house and spend time in her backyard, The Oklahoman reports. She moved in in August.

Her neighbor, Mike Wright, says he has been complaining to city officials without success even though the city banned the swine in 1995.

"We're fighting city government and they do not want to do anything about this," he said.

Kid has been lobbying for a change in the city's ordinance to let her keep her pets, but city attorney David Davis said that does not appear likely to happen.

In addition to the smell, Wright said he has had problems with fleas since Kid moved in with the pigs in August.

Kid said other neighbors like her unusual pets, but told the newspaper she was planning to move again -- to an area where her pigs will be welcome.
