NEW YORK, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A New York City school is applying business principles to the heart as part of its three-day course to help men pitch the perfect woo.

Coaches at Charisma Art, with locations across the United States, use principles such as a Statement of Intent to help teach Casanova wannabes to take idle chitchat to the next level.

The intense training includes role-playing and coaching followed by a field trip followed by critiques followed by another field trip, CMS said.

Coach Chad Diego De la Vega said a statement of intent is crucial to developing romance.

Because women don't know what men want, it is up to the man to declare his intent clear early on -- such as whether he is looking for romance or merely conversation, De la Vega said.

But while Charisma Art can teach the principles of good conversation and pitching woo, its pupils have to be careful not to come off as insincere, CMS said. Part of being sincere, is embracing weakness -- not running from it.
