The Hallak family placed the life-sized lions next to their driveway five years ago. Last week, they disappeared overnight along with a bronze fountain and birdbath, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. The haul was worth an estimated $30,000. There were no witnesses to the theft. All the Hallaks know is that the lions were there at 7 p.m. last Monday and gone at 8 a.m. Tuesday when Faez Hallak took the dog for a walk. "It broke our hearts," his wife, Nadima Hallak, said. "I swear I won't ever prosecute as long as I get my stuff back."
