Among the mementoes Kerik was trying to unload were his NYPD jacket with the word "commissioner" across the back, photos of Kerik with U.S. President George Bush, Queen Elizabeth II of Britain and other well-known figures and a letter from Israel's police chief congratulating Kerik on his nomination as Homeland Security secretary, the New York Daily News reported. Advertisement Kerik withdrew his name from nomination after information about his personal and professional life came to light. He recently pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges involving taking favors from contractors while he was the city corrections commissioner. "Who wants a perp's jacket?" one police officer asked the Daily News.
