Skydiver comic lands on imperial grounds

TOKYO, July 3 (UPI) -- A Japanese comedian attempting a parachute landing in a Tokyo stadium landed at the home of the heir to the imperial throne when he was blown off course.

Atsuhiko Nakata and his instructor were not injured in the mishap, the Japan Times reported. They made a safe landing on the property where Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako live, about 150 feet from a state guesthouse.

Nakato, one-half of the comedy team Oriental Radio, was heading for Jingu Stadium. The parachute jump was for a quiz show.
