MINNEAPOLIS, June 9 (UPI) -- A Minneapolis pizza delivery guy who dresses like a super hero sprung into action when a thief grabbed a woman's purse, a report says.

Cameron Evans, a 26-year-old student at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, has the alter ego of "Luke Pie-Rocker," the Minneapolis Star Tribune said Friday.

Evans was delivering pizzas Tuesday night when he heard a 55-year-old woman scream that her purse had been snatched.

The pizza guy, who wears orange tights, black boots and a cape, ran off in pursuit. Eventually, he called on two pedestrians to help him trap the thief in an alley.

Evans let the thief go in exchange for the purse, which he returned to the victim, the newspaper said.
