Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 10 (UPI) -- Three circus elephants escaped, another was hurt and the driver of the truck they were riding in was injured during a crash north of Stockholm, Sweden. The Local reports the accident happened on Route 268 at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when the truck took a corner too fast. Advertisement Police, emergency crews and veterinarians responded to the accident and treated the driver and one elephant for minor injuries. The other three elephants were found in a nearby field, eating grass. After being treated the elephants were loaded onto a new truck and continued to their next stop.
