LONDON, May 8 (UPI) -- The undisputed king of the Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh, has joined Britain's Queen Elizabeth in having his 80th birthday portrait taken.

Photographer Jane Bown, who did Queen Elizabeth's portrait earlier this year, told the Daily Mail snapping Pooh was "a happy experience."

"I was totally enchanted by him," she added.

Bown has photographed rock and sports royalty as well with subjects including Mick Jagger, John Lennon and Muhammad Ali, the Mail said.

A.A. Milne's "bear of very little brain" is expected to attend the Children's Party at Buckingham Palace on June 25 to honor the Queen's birthday.
